Fernandez Bay Village is a charming resort village located on the quiet island of Cat. This remote and rustic hideaway has 6 beachfront villas and 6 beachfront cottages. Cat Island is the place to unwind. Unspoiled white sand beaches, lush vegetation and friendly people help make this southern Bahamian island a jewel worth noticing.

ACCOMMODATION:

All cottages have a queen size bed, walk in closet, table & chairs, garden shower, private terrace, wicker & rattan furniture plus overhead fans. All cottages have air conditioning.
All houses/villas have one or two bedrooms, a garden shower, a living room, dining area, private terrace, overhead fans, rattan & wicker furniture and a kitchen for full house keeping, giving you the option of cooking. All master bedrooms have airconditioning

DINING:

Meals are served in a clubhouse decorated with antiques and Haitian art. This clubhouse, which opens onto a view of the beach and sea, also features a sitting library area, stone fireplace, and overhead fans. Dinners are served on a beach terrace adjacent to a thatched-roof Tiki bar that runs on the honor system. On many nights a blazing bonfire near the water becomes a focal point for guests who want to listen to island music.

TRAVEL TO FERNANDEZ BAY VILLAGE:

Fly from Ft.Lauderdale to New Bight/The Bight Airport or from Nassau to The Bight. The Bight Airport is located minutes from the Fernandez Bay Village Resort. There is no pick up or drop off charge.

Please note that Cat Island, Bahamas is not the same place as Cat Cay, Bahamas. Some travel agents and airline clerks may mix them up.
