  1. Who are Bahamas Hotels?

    Bahamas Hotels is a UK based company specialising in providing world wide luxury accommodation. The company has been operating for 10 years and its personnel have over 20 years of experience. It offers accommodation on over 150 hotels and resorts in the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, Arabia, North America, Far East and more.
     

  2. Are the rates on your site per person or per room per night?

    All the rates quoted on our site are PER ROOM for the duration of the WHOLE STAY requested. On our quotation page, we do give a per person breakdown. All prices include service and local taxes and in most destinations a one way transfer from the airport to the hotel.
     

  3. Are flights included in the price?

    No. The prices quotes DO NOT include flights. They cover the hotel only for the duration of your stay plus taxes and service charges.
     

  4. What is the difference between 'Available to reserve' and 'Subject to availability'?

    'Available to reserve' indicates that your request is available with the hotel. If booked, these can be confirmed immediately. 'Subject to availability' is where we have no pre-assigned rooms available that match your requirements and need to request room(s) for you directly from the hotel. Please note we only take payment from your credit card when bookings are confirmed with the hotel.
     

  5. How do I know my hotel reservation is confirmed?

    If you book a hotel that is showing 'Available' you will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. If you make a ' Subject to availability' booking, assuming the hotel is able to accommodate your request, you will receive a confirmation email from us within 12 hours. Confirmation emails will include full booking details and confirm the price you have paid. If a 'Subject to availability' booking cannot be confirmed by the hotel, we will advise this to you by email within 24 hours with alternative dates or hotels for you to consider.   6. Do I need to confirm my hotel reservation with the hotel directly?

    No. The booking confirmation you receive from us is all you need. If you do need to contact the hotel for any reason, you should wait 24 hours after receiving our confirmation invoice, to allow for processing time at the hotel.
     

  7. When I make a reservation am I confirmed immediately?

    Sometimes we can immediately confirm your reservation because we have our own 'inside availability' which means that we do not have to ask the property for an available room and can confirm back to you immediately. Otherwise, please allow us up to 12 hours to process your request. See FAQ no. 4 above
     

  8. How will I know I am confirmed?

    You will receive an email confirmation invoice if you booked online or by phone providing all your booking and payments details.
     

  9. When I make a reservation will my credit card be charged?

    Your credit card is charged when we confirm your reservation and you will have received your confirmation invoice. If we cannot confirm your reservation because the hotel is full then we will advise you and no charge will be made against your card. For deposit and full payment details.   11. How safe are my credit card details and personal information?

  13. Can I use my credit card with an international billing address?

    Yes, if you have a credit/debit card with an international billing address, you can use it to book a hotel. The address you enter at the payment stage needs to exactly match the credit/debit card billing address additionally the credit card holders should also be one of the individuals staying at the hotel you are booking.
     

  14. How do I get to the hotel?

    For your comfort and convenience most of our hotel prices include a one-way transfer from the airport to the hotel. For further information and other transfer options email us by clicking here
     

  15. Do you arrange flights?

    We do not arrange flights. We only provide the hotel element of your vacation.
     

  16. Do children receive discounts?

    The policy regarding child reductions varies from hotel to hotel. Where these discounts or 'free stays' apply, they are shown on hotel quotation and summary screen where the booking total is confirmed prior to payment being taken.
     

  17. What currency am I charged in UK Pounds, Euros, or US Dollars?

    Your credit card is charged a deposit or full prepayment (depending on how far in advance of arrival you book) in either US dollars, Euros or UK Pounds. When you first select the hotel for quoting you can indicate your currency preference. If you book by phone, then simply advice our Consultants at the time of confirming your reservation.
     

  18. Will I get a voucher?

    You will receive a pre-paid hotel voucher and if applicable a transfer voucher by email, if you provide your address in the reservation. These documents should be printed off and taken with your other travel documents. If you book by phone and you do not have an email address then we will forward your voucher(s) by post or fax as required. For further information email us by clicking here
     

  19. Do you ever offer any special deals?

  20. Do you give my information to any one?

  21. How much will I be charged if I cancel a booking?

    This depends how many days prior to arrival you cancel. If you cancel with a view to travel within 6 months often there is no cancellation charge, but this does depend on the hotels final confirmation. Please refer to our Booking Terms and Conditions.   22. What happens if I need a refund?

    Any refund due will be credited directly to the credit/debit card that was used to pay for the booking. Please allow up to 10 working days for this to be processed.
     

  23. Has anyone from your company visited the hotel?

    Bahamas Hotels personnel or our local agents inspect all the hotels for suitability to be added to our programme and for star rating purposes. For further information email us by clicking here
     

  24. If I make a request for a particular room will it be guaranteed?

    We can only forward a request to the hotel for a particular room, but it is not guaranteed. For further information email us by clicking here
     

  25. Can I reserve the room before I pay the deposit?

    Payment is only taken when your room is confirmed. We cannot hold rooms on option.
     

  26. How do I get from the hotel to the airport?

  27. I called the telephone numbers on your web site and there was no answer what does this mean?

  28. What is Full Board and Half Board?

    Full Board (FB) or Full American Plan (FAP) means 3 meals are included, breakfast lunch and dinner. Half Board (HB) or Modified American Plan (MAP) means 2 meals are included breakfast and dinner.
     

  29. Does the price include tax and service charges?

    Yes all our prices include tax and service charges.

     

  30. Do I have to book on line or can I call you to make the reservation by phone?

    You can do either. If you book On Line then your details are fully secure. If you prefer to speak to one of our Consultants and then book over the phone then simply call us on 0800 048 3473
     

  31. Can I change my dates once I have booked?
